Biography LP Juap:
LP Juap or Phra Yannarangsri was abbot of Wat Ratchasittharam or Wat Plub, Bangkok. LP Juap was born in 21 June CE1913 in Nakhonratchasrima Province. LP Juap was ordained on 29 March CE1930 at Wat Thonglangnoi in Nakhonratchasrima Province. LP Juap went to Bangkok for studying meditation and dharma at Wat Aroonratchawararam. Moreover, LP Juap studied the Khmer language and ancient medicine until he was expert. LP Juap went to Wat Ratchasittharam to study magic and meditation from LP Pae who was former abbot of temple and expert in meditation. LP Juap passed away on 15 January CE2007.
History of Wat Plub or Ratchasit:
Wat Plub is ancient temple where built since Ayutthaya’s period. King Ranma I invited “LP Suk” who was great monk in Ayutthaya Province to be abbot of Wat Plub. LP Suk is the teacher of King Rama I and great magical expert. King Rama II appointed LP Suk to be Buddhist Supreme Patriarch of Thailand. Moreover, Thai people believe LP Suk of Wat Plub is teacher of Somdej Toh too. LP Suk passed away in 29 August BE2365 (CE1822).
