Wat Hua Lam Pong was built between King Rama I to King Rama III in Rattanakosin period.
At first the temple was called "Wat Wooah Lam Pong",
the name was changed to "Wat Hua Lam Pong " by King Rama V.
The temple has been made this Phra Somdej Song Stamp that require donation of money for building the new Ubosot of Wat Hua Lam Pong.
On the back of this amulet is King Rama V in stamp design. King Rama V is known as Phra chula Chomklao Chaoyuhua. He successfully managed to cultivate the idea of Siam as a buffer state between the colonial possessions of the European power in South-East Asia. The price he paid of losing certain border territories was amply rewarded, for Siam was never colonized-the only country in the region to maintain its sovereignty throughout the period of colonial expansionism. Much beloved by his people.He pass away in 1910.
