Name: Phra Jow Yai In Plaeng

From: Wat Mahawanaram, Ubon Ratchathani Province

Origin: Thailand

Material:baked clay mixed with the holy masses

Size: 1.8 cm x 2.5 cm

Ceremony: LP Somkiat who is the abbot of Wat Mahawanaram created and strong blessed this amulet by himself.

The history of Wat Mahawanaram:

Wat Mahawanaram, or often called "Wat Pa Yai", is one of the oldest temples in Ubon Ratchathani. It is located in the north-east around 1 kilometer from the City Hall.Phra Chao Yai In Plaeng.
The famous Buddha image of Ubon Ratchathani, is installed there. Wat Mahawanaram is an ordinary third grade Royal Monastery which is the first and the only one temple of Maha Nikai monks. The address is 183 Luang Road, Tambon Nai Muange, region 1. The previous status was a legal monk bureau on the 10th of March 1917 which was the day before the monk Act 1941. The temple was granted the approval by the King on the 8th of February 1925
The pedestral was granted by the King on the 8th February 1922. It became the grounds of a monastery on the 10th February 1945. The temple was given the status by the King to be an ordinary third grad Royal Monastery on the 31st May 1978. Therefore, it is the first and only one Royal Monastery of Maha Nikai monks in Ubon Ratchathani. (Reference from www.mahawannaram.com)
