Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

At the age of 10 he returned with Luang Por Daeng to their home village, to construct a new temple 20KM south at Tambon Don Pusah. In 1904, the newly built temple was moved from Tambon Don Pusah to Tambon Sam Nagm, and the temple was known as Wat Sam Nagm.
LP Te was novice at the age of 15 for studying Dharma and magic under his uncle until the age of 20 when he was finally ordained as a monk. LP Te eventually was to become the close disciple of LP Tah, of Wat Panaengtak who was knowledge of Dhamma and Sammahdti. LP Te would accompany his Master whenever he went Tudung, until such time that LP Te had gained sufficient experience to go alone. After LP Tah passed away, LP Te had learned such art from LP Chaem of Wat Takong and also an unnamed monk from Cambodia.

LP Te was well known for making 'Guman Thong'. The first temples in Thailand to make 'Guman Thong' were Wat Sahm Ngahm and Wat Takong. He passed away on 25 December 1981 at the age of 90

The Biography of Phra Moggalland:
1} Before he was given the name Kolita, his childhood was the as same that of Upatissa. 2} After being ordained for 7 days, he practiced meditation in a forest, but distracted by sleepiness, he could not practice meditation. The Buddha showed the way to overcome the sleepiness. Having become an arahant, the Venerable Moggallana was an important power of Buddhism, helping with various duties, who was the most skillfulin having supernatural powers, was appointed as the chief right follower in pairs {Aggasavaka} of the Venerable Sariputta. 3} Since he had the most excellent supernatural powers, he could travel to hell and heaven in various realms. Then he descended down to inform their relatives and people. Because of this, the relatives and friends of the departed refrained from evil deeds, which may lead to an existence in hell, and instead developed good deeds which would lead them to live heaven. Ever since, those who never had faith in Buddhism, discarded their old beliefs and had faith in the Buddha. 4} The Buddha, one day, let the Venerable Moggallana teach Aggidatta and his dispels to uit their pride and their doctrine.. Upon arriving at Aggidata’s residence, the Venerable contemplated on the tejo kasina {the heating contemplation device} to defeat the nagas {serpents} till they lost their power. Aggaditta and his disciples had faith in the Buddha. 5} The Venerable Mahamoggallana was well-versed in Dharma, ethically well practiced and full skilled in supernatural power moe than other disciples. Still he was generous and had a good disposition to other monks. He never hindered, harmed and insulted other monks’ abilities. He never seized an opportunity to outdo others. 6} Approaching the last times of the Lord Buddha, a group of pagans, who lost their respectful gain, they come along Venerable Moggallana. With wicked intention, they thought that the Venerable Moggallana was their obstructions. They hired some thieves to kill him. Having received the money, the cruelthieves encircled the Venerable’s residence, but he already foresaw thathe could escape from them two times. The third time, he reflected that it was hiskarma that he had accumulated in his previous existence, and knew that he could not escape from such a karma by any means. He then surrendered to the thieves who then easily arrested him. He was beaten up and badly hurt. Being sure that he was sell dead, the thieves threw his body away in a forest and then escaped. 7} By his supernatural power, the Venerable Mahamoggallana reassembled his destroyed corpse into the normal state, the floated skyward to see the Buddha in order to ask him for permission to enter parinibbana. The Buddha asked him to preach the Dharma to the Sangha. Accepting the Buddha’s order, he flew skyward performing a miracle, preached the Dharma. Then descended down to pay respect to the Buddha, asked to leave for Kalasila, where he entered parinibbana.
