The Biography of LP Sawai :
LP Sawai was a former abbot of Preedaram Temple, Nakhonpathom Province. He was one of famous guru monks of Thailand. He seriously studied dharma of Buddha in theory and practice. He practiced intensive meditation together with magic until he became an expert.
LP Sawai was born on the 18th January 1921 in Ayutthaya Province. His parents were Mr. Sue and Mrs. Yim Phuttasorn. He studied primary at Wat Preedaram School. In 1938, he was a novice at Preedaram Temple for 4 years and then he got ordained as a monk at the same temple on the 4th July 1941. His name in monkhood was “Titawanno”. He lived at Preedaram Temple until he passed away on the 11thNovember 2000 while he was 79 years old. After his death, there is wondrousness that his body isn’t rotten until today many people still visit Preedaram Temple to pay respect to his body.
