History of Wat Huay Mongkol:
Wat Huay Mongkol, Prachuapkhirikhan Province is well known for a sitting biggest LP Thuad statue in the world. LP Thuad statue made of holy material. The height is 11.5 meters and the width is 9.9 meters.
At first the temple namely “Wat Huay Kot”. Next, King Rama IX gives a new name for this temple that “Wat Huay Mongkol”. This Temple was built more than 40 years old. Also, there is LP Thuad which carves from Thong Ta-Kien tree. This Ta-kien tree has over 1,000 years. Many people believe that there are gods inside this tree.


LP PhaiRoj is an abbot of Wat Huay Mongkol. He is the first monk who created biggest of LP Thuad statue in Thailand and popular for his knowledge in both holy Dharma and Visha. His amulet is very famous in protection and wealth. LP PhaiRoj has been studied the art of making efficacious amulets from many guru monks of Thailand. Also, he is an expert of holy soil and Wan . Every day, many people go to this temple.
