Regarding to Thai history, Thai name for a penis amulet is Palad-Khik which means "honorable surrogate penis." Have a long tradition as lucky charms and protected from fierce animals like snake or scorpion, are worn by boys and men on a waist-string under the clothes, off-center from the real penis, in the hope that they will attract and absorb any magical injury directed toward the generative organs. History of Wat Nuamkanon:
Wat Nuamkanon is located at Samutsakorn Province. There is no exactly evidence. But this temple was built in BE2406 (CE1863). There was a formerly name that “Wat ThaHin PhraYod”.
The temple is a faraway temple. Public utility can't reach both elctricity and water supply. This temple had built Buddha image "Pang Saiyaht" more than 3 years until today. Wat Nuamkanon has not much capital for building this Buddha image.
