Luang Pu Khowhaeng, a Close Friend of LP Suang the Angel on Earth:
When mentioning Luang Pu Suang, no one says he doesn’t know. In fact, profile of LP Suang is still ambiguous, however he is genius and beyond the time (500 years of life). A number of people in E-san Tai (Southern Northeast) gave him a nickname “The Angel on Earth”. Wonderful stories about LP Suang was shared orally and widely. Now, his amulets are popular among collectors and disciples trying to possess good amulets. As for power, people well know that LP Suang’s amulets excellently include many aspects such as Saneh (charm), kindness for business, luck and protection. And nowadays, there is a monk who is keeping on magic of LP Suang, he is “Luang Pu Khowhaeng”.
LP Khowhaeng (Khmer: Bai Grim) Wat Tapan Satthadham, Surin Province, aged 103 (2017 CE), but his age is not exactly referenced. Some people believe LP 123 years old.
LP Khowhaeng is a close friend of LP Suang (Khmer: Bai Truek Jia) the Angel on Earth. LP Khowhaeng’s personalities are like LP Suang’s as if they wre brothers. LP likes to go on a pilgrimage and also doesn’t care about stuff or valuable things. When he gets offerings from people, he always kindly shares those offerings to other people. Even money people offer him, he will bring to make merit and prays to angels to bless those who donate every year.
After the Buddhist Lent, LP Khowhaeng usually sets off a monk journey to the forest alone without telling anyone, so if whoever wants to know where he goes have to ask a disciple who closely look after him.
LP Khowhaeng is a monk who is full of mercy. His mindstream is very fast and he also has good memory.
Amulets by LP Khowhaeng have experiences no less than LP Suang’s. Prominent in Metta (people kindness) and luck. Not only that, it also includes bringing good business and so much progression in a career. After coming to LP Khowhaeng, people often have wonderful experiences (according to what you pray for). That makes LP Khowhaeng gradually known by people and every day many people come to pray respect to him.
LP Khowhaeng peacefully passed away on 24 January 2018 at age 104.

People are memorizing a kind smile of Luang Pu Suang alias “The Angel on Earth”. Why is this monk respected by a lot of people and why do those are searching story of LP Suang although he already passed away in year 2000? The reason is not only a smile of LP Suang, but his merit and holiness that can help people from trouble and also inspirit people who are depressed with hope of better life amazingly.
LP Suang was the most uncommon guru monk in Thai history. He spoke Cambodian. Nobody knew exactly where he came from and his age was a puzzle. People knew only that they first found LP Suang in the field in Sisaket Province. From inquiring nearly old people, they said they saw LP Suang as an old monk when they were young. But why when they got old, they still saw LP Suang in the same look. Some people assumed that LP Suang was about 500 years old. People looking after LP Suang saw many wonders of him such as puzzling coming and going, holy urine making crops grow well, staying underwater, etc. So, they called LP Suang ‘Angel on Earth’.
LP Suang was a very simple monk. He could live anywhere with one robe. In fact, his shelter was a small shed. Although he did not clean himself, his body did not stink.
He did not care about money and stuffs at all. When people gave LP Suang money, he threw it out. That made people amazed at him. People who were close to LP Suang love and respect LP Suang very much. They do believe holiness of LP Suang is eternal.
LP Suang passed away on the 7th September BE 2543 (CE 2000) and the story of him is still mysterious today.
