About the Guru Monk:
KB Baeng is one guru monk who is interested by many Thai and foreign worshipers now because his amulets are very famous. People call him “KB Baeng” that “Kruba ” is what Thai people call a Northern or Laotian monk and “Bang” means “to give” because KB Baeng is kind to everyone and he always helps when people ask him for help. That means KB Baeng has a heart of giving both mercy and energy. No doubt, people love and respect him very much.
KB Baeng (KB Baeng) was born on 15 August 2496 BE (1953 CE) in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. KB Baeng’s father was a guru master using magic to help sick people in the village, so this inspired KB Baeng to do like his father. He learnt magic from his father when he was 12. Until age 14, he could sometimes do the ceremony in place of his father. His magical ability was so much accepted that people called him “little master”.
After that, KB Baeng met “Kruba Siharaj” who was a Laotian pilgrim and a disciple of “Somdej Loon”, the great Laotian guru monk. KB Baeng felt interested in magical power of KB Siharaj, so he followed KB Siharaj to “Pu Kow Kwai”, the mysterious and dangerous mountain in Laos to serve and learn magic from him. Later, at age 25, KB Baeng got ordained as a Buddhist monk at Wat Ban Tanod in Nakhon Ratchasima. Four months after ordination, he came back to Pu Kow Kwai for pilgrimage and for a year he met KB Siharaj again. That time, he learnt the advanced magic from KB Siharaj and became enlightened about magic.
In 2523 BE (1980 CE), KB Siharaj passed away and when KB Baeng knew he went to Pu Kow Kwai mountain and held the funeral for KB Siharaj. Loss of his beloved magic teacher made KB Baeng very sad and turned to a layman. Thirteen years later, his father had paralysis. KB Baeng thought to be a monk to make great merit to help his father.
At first, he thought to be a monk for 15 days but he changed his mind because during taking care of his father, KB Baeng saw changing of life and that made him review the truth of life: birth, being aged and death. Therefore, he has been in monkhood since then. At present, he is an abbot of Wat Ban Tanod, Nakhon Ratchasima.
