The appropriately named The Final Fight was the stage on which Billionmore Hall of Famer SCOTT ‘TITLETAKER’ ALLAN made the third and final defence of his WKA World Bantamweight Title in what was his last amateur kickboxing bout! Billionmore’s newest reporter and fellow Hall of Famer DEAN FORD was there to witness a fantastic night of kickboxing action! |

The show was held on July 3rd in the Bon Accord club in the small town of Shotts in Lanarkshire, and saw action from the ‘little ninjas’ to heavyweights as well as three Full Contact Title bouts.
The first title showcase of the evening saw WKA Full Contact World Champion, Dean ‘The Destroyer’ Sutherland of Aberdeen, swap his 35kg Light Contact title for the tougher discipline. |
He took a unanimous points decision after a hard-fought 5-round contest against Jack Owens from the IAKSA club in Glasgow. Both fighters gave 100%, but Dean’s skill shone through, giving Owens standing counts in two rounds. |
The next title fight saw Dean’s rival, Callum ‘The Rocket’ Reynolds from Rivals Gym, in a rematch with Johnny ‘Dodger’ Squirrel from England, after a tough fight at the WKA British Junior Championships. This time saw the two young warriors battle for the WKA 35kg Commonwealth Title in a gruelling 5-round match in which WKA Light Contact World Champion, Reynolds, came out as the victor. The English corner seemed to disagree with the decision although it was unanimous
And now for the main event of the evening... |

Well, this one lived up to all expectations! Challenging for the title was the brave French Muay Thai Champion, Lucas Lalanne. The very confident Allan put on a pre-fight show with an amazing entrance to excite the fans as his rapper shouted, ‘When I say “Title”, you say “Taker”!’ The fight went the distance with Scott outscoring his tough opponent and showing real class. | Overall it was a great night for the sport with some great young up-and-coming talent!
On behalf of Billionmore I wish Hall of Famer Scott Allan all the best in his professional boxing career. |
