Jenson Rowley
Under the watchful eye of Colin Payne, Jenson has developed as a talented young fighter, and in 2012, he was short-listed for the Courier’s ‘Young Sports Personality of the Year’ award. Jenson hopes that his sport will one day be adopted by the Olympic Committee, and has set his sights on a spot in a future Team GB. Jenson’s most recent fight took place at the Waterside Theatre, Aylesbury, where he achieved a convincing win against Francis Conlin, of Cleveland Kickboxing. In the near future, Jenson is hoping to earn his Black Belt, whilst also eagerly anticipating being matched for upcoming fights in Autumn 2013 at the ‘Battle of Kent’ and the ‘Kombat Zone.’ |
Nice spinning back kick
Another spinning back kick. Jenson's trademark kick!
Jenson featured (red hand wraps at top) on the last Kombat Zone poster in Rochester.
Fitness and discipline are two of the most important things that Jenson takes from his sport. However, he attributes much of his success to the support from his 'extended family' of fighters at TKO. He sets an excellent example for any young aspiring fighter to follow, trains very hard at all times but also with a great attitude that does him proud. |
Jenson is still only 13 but over the next couple of years will, we believe, collect many titles and already has won the prestigious Ringmasters title which he will hopefully be defending in October.
