The English fighter Sheree Halliday has earned the nickname ‘Nuclear Holocaust’ for her aggressive style in a professional career of 17 fights, with 12 wins, including 3 knock-outs. Trained by World Champion Liam Robinson, also a Billionmore Hall of Famer, Sheree began boxing with 3 wins in 4 amateur fights and gained her first honours as Bronze Medallist in the IFMA World Championships of 2006. Since then she has gone on to take on many of the best in Europe.
She rates her best fight yet as the points win over Bonny van Oortmerson in Woking in May 2008 and she finished off the year with a victory over Mariela Kruse for the European title in London. 2008 proved a big year for Sheree. In March she fought for the first time against a Thai opponent in Bangkok and in October she unsuccessfully challenged for a World Title against Maria Verheijen in Sittard, Holland.
All Sheree’s five fights last year (2008) were against international opposition, but she has also met the best of British talent, like Julie Kitchen, and is currently ranked Number 1 in Britain at 60 kg. Her great year was complete when muaythaionline voted her Best UK Female Boxer of 2008.
