Regardig to, JaTuKam RaMaThep (Phra Siam Dhevaraj of South Sea kingdom) South Sea kingdom is an area in the south of Thailand. It starts from SurajThani, Malaysia until Indonesia. These areas were Sri Vichai Kingdom since over 1,000 years ago. This kingdom is very prosperity. There is much Bodhisattva architecture. The principle of Bodhisattva is great kindness.
JaTuKam RaMaThep:
- JaTu means four. Kam (Kama) means area. Total meaning of JaTuKam RaMaThep is 4 directions.
- JaTuKam RaMaThep means soul of former king of Sri Vichai Kingdom. He is full of prestige and popularity. Moreover, he is full of ten virtues.
People believe that JaTuKam RaMaThep was a former king of Sri Vichai Kingdom who protects Phra BaRomMa That and Nakorn Sri ThammaRat City. JaTuKam RaMaThep is a symbol of Bodhisattva.
Nowadays, JaTuKam RaMaThep in Thailand is very popular for his power of protection and wealth. Also there are many fake JaTuKam RaMaThep amulets in Thai market and market price continual going up.
Wat Nang Tra has a long history. In the legend said that Phra Chao Sri Tham Sok built relic pagoda for install Buddha relic. Next, princess of Sri Vichai Kingdom namely Phra Nang Supattra knew about building pagoda. She would like to make a merit for this building. But she had an accident. Her ship was sinking. She saw that a sink place was suitable for making temple. Thus, she made a temple namely Wat Phra Supattra.
Next, she ordained a nun. She lived at this temple until she died. Later, Wat Phra Supattra became Wat Nang Tra.
LP Klan was an abbot of Wat Khao Or , Phatthalung Province. He has been an expert of concentration of mindfulness in Buddhism way. He has knowledge of Visha (Magic) and has been studied the art of making efficacious amulets from many guru monks of Wat KowOo. LP Klan has deep knowledge of Visha and is highly respected in South of Thailand. LP Klan’s amulets are very popular among Thai amulets collectors. He passed away on 13 April 2006 at the age of 94 year old.
Wat Khao Or has more than 120 year history of making good Amulets. Most of the believer’s considered that the Amulets carry protective powers.
