Name: Takrut Salika with old braid rope

From: LP Parn, Wat Khlongdan, Samutprakarn Province

Material:LP Parn created Takrut Salika from holy metal sheets that LP Parn wrote holy Yant and characters on the sheet by his hand.

Size: long about 3 inches

Year: about BE2450 (CE1907)

Origin: Thailand

Purpose: LP Parn created the amulet to help disciples from dangerous and obstacle.

Ceremony: LP Parn created Takrut Salika from holy metal sheet that LP Parn melted many holy metals to be holy Yant sheet. After that, LP Parn wrote holy Yant and characters on the sheet by his hand that while writing LP Parn spell katha for each Yant and characters to make the Takrut to be more sacred. Then LP Parn’s disciple took Takrut Salika to tie with robe and covered with lacquer. Finally, LP Parn strongly blessed Takrut Salika on auspicious day that LP Parn blessed until the Takrut full of power.

Power: Takrut Salika by LP Parn is one of great amulet in Thailand that Thais believe can protect wearer from weapon, dangerous, black magic and harm from animal.

The Biography of LP Parn:
LP Parn of Wat Khlongdan is one of great monk in Thailand and his amulets are very well known in Thailand, especially tiger amulet that LP Parn created tiger amulet from tiger fang. LP Parn was born on BE2369 (CE1826). In childhood, LP Parn’s parents brought LP Parn to study and ordain with Chao Khun Srisakkayamunee at Wat Arunratchawararam. LP Parn studied the magic and meditation from many great monks that LP Parn went to study the magic to create tiger amulet with LP Tang of Wat Angsila in Chonburi Province. LP Parn studied the magic with LP Tang for long time that LP Tang tested the magic by ordered LP Parn blessed until tiger amulet ran into forest and can come back to LP Parn that shown LP Parn finished tiger amulet magic. In BE2452, King Rama V went to water gate at Bang Hia River that LP Parn heard King Rama V went to Samutprakarn Province, he went to water gate for offered the tiger amulet to King Rama V but while going, LP Parn’s disciple made tiger amulets fallen into water that when LP Parn knew he took the clay to mold be pig pattern then put into water that tiger amulet jumped out from water to clay pig. LP Parn amulets are very well known in Thailand such as tiger amulet, Takrut, holy Yant cloth and other. LP Parn passed away on 29 August BE2453 (CE1910)
