Ceremony: The blessing ceremony will be held on the 16th March B.E. 2556 (C.E. 2013) at Wat Nong Khao by the abbot and monks of Wat Nong Khao.
Biography of LP Nguen:
LP Nguen of Wat BangKlan, Pijit province was born on the 16th September B.E. 2353 (C.E. 1810) in Pijit Province. He was a novice at the age of 12 at Wat ChaNaSongKram, Bangkok for studying dharma and meditation. At the age of 21, he got ordained as a monk at Wat TongPu. After that, he moved to Wat KongKaRarm. He is an expert in concentration of mindfulness in Buddhist way. LP Nguen went on a pilgrimage (Tudong) in the deep jungle alone to the border of Thailand and Myanmar.
In B.E. 2380 (C.E.1837), he held an intention of building the temple. The following year, he started building Wat BangKlan. LP Nguen became one of famous monks in Thailand. His amulets are very famous for protection and wealth reflecting on wonderful experiences of the worshippers. LP Nguen passed away in B.E. 2462 (C.E. 1919) at the age of 109.
Nowadays, LP Nguen is still famous. LP Nguen images are often seen in shops because people believe power of LP Nguen will bring them money and good business as well as the name Nguen means money in Thai.
Wonderful Experience:
On the 16th December B.E. 2555 (C.E. 2012), metal pouring ceremony of this collection was held, people in the event got one LP Nguen medal. A lady, one of them had an accident on the way home. Her motorcycle hit the pickup truck very hard. Luckily, she did not die.
