Don’t miss! Today – 9 October 2020

Name: Make Merit Kathin: Restore Old Buildings in Temple – Get Free 1 TaoWetSuWan Buddhist Guardian Angel Medal

From: Wat Kaew Jam Fa, Bangkok

Origin: Thailand

You are cordially invited to be part of Kathin event at Wat Kaew Jam Fa in order to earn donations to restore old buildings in the temple.

Donor gets free 1 piece powerful Tao Wet Su Wan medal properly blessed by LP Mahasurasak, Wat Pradu, Samut Songkhram Province. Batch: Kathin Wat Kaew Jam Fa. Year: B.E.2563 (C.E.2020).

Power: TAO WET SU WAN is the governor of demons and bodyguard of Buddha. His image is usually seen in Buddhist temples. Not only the powerful guardian angel, Tao Wet Su Wan is also praised as ?god of wealth? due to meaning of his name "gold". Worshiping Tao Wet Su Wan is believed to grant a pile of fortune and safety from bad spirits, black magic and bad things.

Meritorious Power of Kathin can improve one's life in any aspect and we can dedicate merit to our deceased family.

The Kathin festival is a traditional Buddhist ritual that is celebrated countrywide each year on the presentation of new robes to monks at the temple, as well as monetary donations in support of temple restoration. It features colourful parades and offerings to monks following the end of Lent.
The end of Lent, which occurs in October, is the beginning of a 30-day period of merit-making.
This affords a special opportunity for prayers to Buddha and for the presentation of gifts to monks.
The offering of new robes is considered to be particularly meritorious and important. Other gifts include basic utensils, toiletries, writing materials, and food. Gift-giving is seen as an act of appreciation and gratitude to the monks.

History of Wat Kaew Jam Fa:
Kaew Jam Fa temple makes this Buddha amulet for donations from the public in order to build Ubosot housing (you can see on back of Buddha image) in 1997.
