The Story of Sang Thong:
Sang Thong is a famous Thai tale about the little prince born in the conch shell who eventually became the hero and captured heart of the beautiful princess. The queen gave birth to ‘Phra Sang’. He came out as a conch shell. The king was angry and expelled the queen out of the palace. While journey, the queen and the conch prince were attacked by crews of the envious queen of the king. The queen and the king were taken apart. The conch prince was thrown away in the river. With his merit, he was saved and well brought up by the giant queen ‘Nang Phanthurat’. The prince grew up as the beautiful prince. One day, he went in the cave and found ‘Chao Ngo ’ head mask and immersed his body in the golden well. The prince also found the bones that he really knew his mother was a giant. The prince decided to leave his mother. When wearing Chao Ngo head mask, the prince became a black frizzy-haired man, and moreover could fly and do supernatural powers. One of his supernatural is ‘Mon Jindamanee’ taught by Nang Phanthurat his giant mother. This is the mantra to call animals and treasure. When Nang Phanthurat knew the departure of his son, she cried her heart out and died. The prince reached the city governed by Thao Samon, the king. This king had 7 beautiful princesses. With a proper age of having marriage, the king held the ceremony finding bridegrooms for his daughters. Phra Sang, the prince in the look of Chao Ngo attended the event. Rodjana, one of the princesses chose Chao Ngo as her husband because she saw the hidden beauty of the prince that nobody couldn’t. To defeat her father’s mind, the prince was tested with many tricks of the king. Phra Sang could pass all tricks with his supernatural powers.
About Guru Monk:
Luang Pho La (often "Phra Ajarn La"), well-known as Phra Ajarn La is an abbot of Wat Soi Suwan in Kamphaeng Phet Province.
He collected a lot of religious and magical knowledge from many gurus such as:
- Vipassana Gammatan (meditation) from Luang Por Kasem, Wat Thajanthara Vipassana, Nakhon Sawan Province
- Athan Phra Vej (magic) from Ajarn Goon Mekatheva (layman)
- Takrut and Look Om Lokkathat (holy ball) from Phra Kru Sangkaraksuchon, Wat Klong Khanon, Ratchaburi Province (monk)
- Khem Thong Kanong Rit (holy acupuncture for being invulnerable) from Phra Palad Surajet, Wat Nong Hin, Kanchanaburi Province (monk)
- Mon Jindamanee (wealth mantra) from a disciple of Luang Por Kong, Wat Wang Sappharot,
Chanthaburi Province
Phra Ajarn La also studied a magic book of Luang Por Derm, Wat Nong Pho, Nakhon Sawan Province. Knowledge of Phra Ajarn is prominent about washing up the black magic and bad powers, supporting fortune, changing bad luck to good luck and helping people earn a living better.
Phra Ajarn always suggests people to do anything mindfully. He says that Sati or being mindful helps people think and make a decision well. Today, Phra Ajarn uses his ability to help people.
