About Guru Monk:
One of famous guru monks in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, no one does not know Pho Than Boonhai or Phra Kru Phisanwihanwat, an abbot of Wat Tha Muang.
LP Boonhai or called in the South Pho Than Boonhai is a good monk and also a top guru monk. For years ago, he released holy amulets for people to worship that manifested the real powers such as protection, Metta Maha Niyom (charm) and good luck.
Pho Than Boonhai is usually invited by temples around Thailand to participated in Phuttha Phisek or consecration ceremony for amulets such as consecrating Jatukam in CE1987 and 2002.Now (2015 CE), Pho Than Boonhai is 87 years old.
Pho Than Boonhai was born on 16 August 1928 CE in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. At age 20, he got ordained as a Buddhist monk in his hometown. After ordination, he set his heart on studying important matter of a monk and studying magic and mantras from Phra Kru Thanksinthammasan. Pho Than Boonhai practiced Vitthayakom (magic and mantras) until he had very strong mind power.
Then in 1951 CE, he went to the Central region and stayed at Wat Khemaphirataram, Nonthaburi Province in order to study monk disciplines for 13 years. After that, he became an abbot of Wat Tha Bantherng Tham in Bangkok Noi district, Bangkok. He stayed there for 3 years and restored the monk shelter and built the sermon hall.
In 1965 CE, he became an abbot of Wat Phra Hom for 1year and became an abbot of Wat Tha Maduea in Phatthalung Province for 6 years. At Wat Tha Maduea, Pho Than Boonhai had a chance to study Visha (magic and mantras) from Phra Ajarn (teachers) who stidied at Samnak Khao Or (old magic school in Phatthalung Province, now is Wat Khao Or ) such as Phra Samusong (Wat Tamod), Phra Kru Kachard (Wat Don Sala), Pho Than Nam, Pho Than Thong, etc.
In 1970 CE, Pho Than Boonhai became an abbot of Wat Tha Muang in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. With his intention to develop the temple, Wat Tha Muang was gradually developed.

Today, Pho Than Boonhai is highly respected by people in the South especially in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Soldiers working in the southernmost border Provinces who got Takrut from Pho Than Boonhai sustain safe now and others who got amulets really experienced good luck and good business.
