LUANGPHO THONG, an abbot of Wat PhraPhutthabatKowYaiHom, Chaiyaphum Province is a close disciple of LP Koon Parisuttho.
LP Koon Parisuttho, a former abbot of Wat Ban Rai, Nakhon Ratchasima Province was a famous guru monk who had holy utterance and good dharma practice. There are many followers of LP Koon in Thailand.
LP Thong looked after LP Koon and also studied mantras from him. When LP Koon was alive, he often had LP Thong inscribe metal shets instead of him. Moreover, LP Thong is often invited to join an important amulet ceremony.
“Phra Kring – Phra Chaiwat Yannavisut Vitthayakom” were made by LP Thong in order to develop and restore Wat Ban Rai, to donate to Medicine Foundation, Srinakarin Hospital, Khon Kaen University and to promote education for smart-but-poor students.
Phra Kring and Phra Chaiwat hold holy Buddha’s mantra capable of enhancing every aspects of life. Phra Kring is widely worshiped as a “remover of illness and misfortune”. Phra Chaiwat is smaller size conventionally made together with Phra Kring. Therefore, worshiping both Phra Kring and Phra Chaiwat is greatly favorable and auspicious for our life.
There are 3 sessions of blessing ceremony performed by LP Thong and a party of monks:
1) at Buddhist chapel, Wat Jaeng Nork, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
2) at Buddhist chapel, Wat Sra Kaew, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
3) at Buddhist chapel, Wat Ban Rai, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
