Description: LP Mian Kalyano, abbot of Wat Ban Janian, Buriram Province, a famous Khmer-nationality occult monk who is widely respected in Buriram and near Provinces.
LP Mian is skilful at making ‘Hoon Phayon’ or a magical figure by using ancient Khmer magic that is so powerful. He says old Cambodian people created Hoon Phayon that have kept temples and sanctuaries safe until now and to give people as a protector.
‘Hoon Phayon’ is a model of human created by an occultist. In the past made by tying grass, bamboo, beeswax or blessed cloth into the figure. Nowadays, it is preferred to cast from sacred metal instead. In the step of installing magical power, LP Mian blesses Hoon Phayon one by one with mantra enabling the figure to have a spirit.
The completely installed Hoon Phayon is magically able to attract good luck, money and people’s kindness as well as to drive out inauspicious and evil forces, bad spirits, protect and remove black magic. About LP Mian (Wat Ban Janian, Buriram Province):
LP Mian Kalayano or “Luang Por Mian” is an abbot of Wat Ban Janian in Buriram Province. LP Mian is kind to everyone, so a lot of people love and respect him.
LP Mian was born in BE 2482 (CE 1939) in Cambodia. At age 10, he got ordained as a Buddhist novice. Until age 20, he got ordained as a monk. He learnt mantras from 12 Cambodian guru monks. During being a monk in Cambodia, LP Mian travel on a pilgrimage for mysticism.
In CE 1976, Cambodia had a war that people and priests were killed. So, LP Mian immigrated to Thailand. He came to Sa Kaeo Province. In BE 2522 (CE 1979), he got ordained again at Wat Nong Tim, Sa Kaeo Province. After that, he went on pilgrimage to many Provinces. In Sisaket Province, he met LP Suang (passed away in CE 2000) whom was called “Thewada Dern Din” that means “angel on earth”. He learnt magic from LP Suang until he understood. LP Mian is also a friend of LP Jiam Atisayo, a well-known monk in Surin Province.
