PHAN BOON, Excellent Southern Amulet: Charm, Good Luck & Wealth
Now, Phan Boon Amulet from the south becomes the talk of the town. It is in form of a man face said of the hunter named Phan Boon who is related to Thai literature. Phan Boon amulet is powerful in Charm, Good Luck and Business. At the moment, it is very popular among Thai amulet collectors and in Malaysia. Businessmen who have worshiped said that Phan Boon amulet is really helpful for their business.
Phan Boon exists in the Thai literature Phra Suthon Manorah, said to be the most skillful hunter with magic competence. Once, he could capture a beautiful angel by using a magic rope called Buang Nak Bat given by Naga.
Phan Boon character also appears in southern Thai classical dance called Manorah. The performer who plays in the role of Phan Boon usually wears a half mask.
**The past magic gurus picked up Phan Boon to make an amulet in form of a mask called Nak Gak Phan which may be filled with consecrated facial powder of a Manorah performer to add charm power. Southern people believe that Phan Boon amulet or Nak Gak Phan can make owner become charming and attractive, lucky, do business well and safe from black magic and evil spirits.
Phopu Phan Gae is the holy spirit of southern Thailand like Por Gae of the central. He is thought to be the ancestor of all hunters and also represents Phan Boon. People who want to be a disciple of Phopu Phan Gae must participate in Krob Kru ceremony. In the ceremony, a medium will invite Phopu Phan Gae to obsess him and he will bless and put a mask on people faces one by one. People who have already become disciples, they must not commit immorality because it is the rule.
In addition, people who are Monorah performers conventionally do spiritual dance to show respect to Phopu Phan Gae and this is believed to bring good luck and success to them.
About Guru Monk:
LP Saeng (also Phothan Saeng) is an admirable sacred guru monk in the South of Thailand. He is an abbot of Wat Ban Trang in Pattani Province. Although unsafe situations in three Southernmost border Provinces (Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat), LP Saeng still stays there to hearten people.
LP Saeng was born on 7 February 2462 BE (1919 CE) in Pattani. He got ordained in Buddhism at age 21. Since after ordination, he has stayed at Wat Ban Trang. LP Saeng set his heart on studying Dharma and Disciplines. Soon, he could accomplish highest level of Dharma examination called Nak Tham Ek. For mantra, LP Saeng studied from many experienced guru monks such as Phothan Thongkaew at Wat Ban Trang, Phothan Janthong at Wat Takhian Thong, etc. LP Saeng is a senior of LP Wann, a well-known guru monk in Pattani. He is also a friend of LP Daeng of Wat Buraparam, a famous guru monk in Pattani. LP Saeng and LP Daeng exchanged magical knowledge each other often in the past.
When LP Saeng was a young monk, he had idea to develop and restore Wat Ban Trang. He led people and monks to cut wood to build the Buddhist scripture library, the sermon hall and kitchen. LP Saeng is a real developer. He led people to build the pavilion in the rice field so that farmers could relax after working. Also, he was the leader to build the path to fields because in the past the way was not good. There were many things that LP Saeng did for his temple and society.
In 2487 BE (1944 CE), LP Saeng was appointed as an abbot of Wat Ban Trang.
His magical knowledge is not common. He can make powerful powder that has strong protective power, holy water for good luck and black magic removal, magical arrow (Visha ThaNoo Sang), Hoon Payon (magical human figure) and Kwai ThaNoo (magical buffalo figure) and knows magic to stop a bullet. In addition, LP Saeng knows charm magic. Besides, in the past when people had unspecified illness, they came to LP Saeng for help because the village was far from the hospital.
