For Your Information: Phet Namphee in this batch were found and brought up for many tons in Uttaradit Province. Already blessed in many ceremonies both Buddhist and Hindu. Kindly blessed by Somdet Phra Yannasangwon (19th patriarch) together with famous guru monks such as LP Uttama, LP Phromma, etc. in grand ceremony, 1984. Then had been taken to several grand ceremonies until this time.
“Phet Namphee” or “Lai Namphee” is a name of holy shiny black (sometimes green, white or sky blue) drippings of silica rock found in Uttaradit Province, Northern Thailand. These silica drippings will become solid when it cools down.
Lek Namphee stone can become drippings at over 1,000 degree Celsius and melting it is not easy because people believe it is taken care by holy spirits, so before getting it, the doer must perform a ritual for permission, or the doer will be in fatal danger for example the stone exploded while melting and fakes of stone cut the doer’s skin.
Lai Namphee drippings are beautiful with shiny black color or maybe green, white or sky blue, so it is made as jewelry. Not only its beauty, but Lai Namphee is also tied to magical aspects; many owners have experiences about unexpected luck and protection such as some won the lottery and soldiers got safe from weapons.
Moreover some owners dipped Lai Namphee in the water for drinking or bathing to cure illness and remove bad luck and dirty magic.

About Luang Pu Suang, the Angel on Earth:
**Facts: LP Suang was used to be an abbot of Wat Prai Pattana. In 1987, LP Suang came to Wat Prai Pattana and people invited him to be an abbot.
People are memorizing a kind smile of Luang Pu Suang alias “The Angel on Earth”. Why is this monk respected by a lot of people and why do those are searching story of LP Suang although he already passed away in year 2000? The reason is not only a smile of LP Suang, but his merit and holiness that can help people from trouble and also inspirit people who are depressed with hope of better life amazingly.
LP Suang was the most uncommon guru monk in Thai history. He spoke Cambodian. Nobody knew exactly where he came from and his age was a puzzle. People knew only that they first found LP Suang in the field in Sisaket Province. From inquiring nearly old people, they said they saw LP Suang as an old monk when they were young. But why when they got old, they still saw LP Suang in the same look. Some people assumed that LP Suang was about 500 years old. People looking after LP Suang saw many wonders of him such as puzzling coming and going, holy urine making crops grow well, staying underwater, etc. So, they called LP Suang ‘Angel on Earth’.
LP Suang was a very simple monk. He could live anywhere with one robe. In fact, his shelter was a small shed. Although he did not clean himself, his body did not stink.
He did not care about money and stuffs at all. When people gave LP Suang money, he threw it out. That made people amazed at him. People who were close to LP Suang love and respect LP Suang very much. They do believe holiness of LP Suang is eternal.
LP Suang passed away on the 7th September BE 2543 (CE 2000) and the story of him is still mysterious today.
