What is “SangKhaThan”?
“SangKhaThan” is an offering, gifts or food presented to the Buddhist monks.
People believe to make “SangKhaThan” give good effects such as:
1. Obtain Luck and Success
2. Removes obstacles
3. To devote for the deceased, persons with previous deeds on each other, sumpawaysee (a spirit awaiting rebirth) and one’s world mate.
How will we make?
1. Let me know your name and we will bring SangKhaThan tanks as to your request (1 from 3 types below)
2. Go to the temple (If you choose Out-of-Bangkok Temple, there will be an expenditure)
3. We will inform you the day we go to temple and you have to say (speak out) the offer word present your intention below.
“i-maa-ni-ma yang pan dtay
sa bpa ri-waa-raa-ni pik-koo sang-kat-sa
oh-noh cha yaa ma saa-too noh pan dtay pik-koo sang-koh
i-maa ni
sa bpa ri-waa-raa-ni bpa dik-kan haa dtoo
am haa gang tee ka rat dtang hi-dtaa ya soo-ka ya”
4. After make a merit, we will get back to you and you must response by saying(speak out) “Saa-Too” (amen) and pour the water of dedication (to transfer merit to other beings) with the dedicated word present your intention below.
- Please prepare clean water in a small jar or bottle and an empty bowl.
- When you say the word present, please pour the clean water from jar to bowl.

- Finally, please pour the water in the bowl under a tree.
