Name: Phra Somdej Wat Khao Ta Krao - Pim Sorng Phi Nong/Pang Son Ha

“Pim Sorng Phi Nong” or “Pang Son Ha” is the style portrayed a small Buddha sitting in the big Buddha.

The name ‘Thong’ means ‘gold’ due to the thick gold leaf on the Buddha. About ‘Wat Khao Ta Krao’, it is believed the builder was the Chinese millionaire and the conductor of construction had a long beard, so people called ‘Wat Khao Jin Krao’ (Jin: Chinese, Krao: beard) and later differently sounded to ‘Wat Khao Ta Krao’.
