LP Phromma of Wat Suan Hin Pha Nang Khoi, Ubon Ratchathani Province was born in 1987. He was novice at the age of 12 at Wat WernChaiNaKorn. He stayed with Somdej Loon who has knowledge of Visha (magic) and Dharma by six year. After Somdej Loon passed away, LP Phromma went Tudong with Ajarn Mun Bhuridhatto who is a top- 10 Guru Monks of Thailand, until such time that LP Phromma had gained sufficient experience to go alone. He lived in Kow Kwai Mountain of Thai borderland by 45 year. After that he went out of the mountain and when Tudong pass to SuanHin Mountain, Ubon Ratchathani Province. People who stay in this area requested LP Parn to live and teach them about Buddhism way. At the same time, people had given the land to LP Phromma for building the temple.
LP Phromma passed away on 23 August 2002 at the age of 105 year old. He has deep knowledge of Visha and is highly respected in Thailand. LP Phromma is one of the famous guru monk who has been created many famous amulets and very popular among Thai amulets collectors.
This batch made from One-eye coconut shell with holy Wan (herb). It’s the best materials to make powerful Phra Rahuamulet. LP has been created and blessed properly in 1995.
“Soo Ri Yoo Pa Rah Kah” that mean “eclipse of the sun”
Phra Rahu is the famous auspicious amulet. He is a mythological monster who is supposed to cause eclipses by taking the moon or the sun in his mouth. He is a kind of giant in Thai myth. The legend is that Phra-RaHu was an immortal giant because he drank some holy nectar. The temple created Phra RaHu amulet not only – taking the moon in his mouth – but also taking the sun in his mouth.
The legend of creation of Phra RaHu is that Phra RaHu was created by the two hermits. One of them was penance in the cave on Nantakhate Mountain. Both of them created magical drawing and magic words in order to sanctify Phra RaHu amulet. One hermit created magical drawing and magic words of Suriyabuppa (eclipse of the sun period) to sanctify Phra RaHu which taking the sun in his mouth. The other hermit created magical drawing and magic words of Chandrabuppa (eclipse of the moon in his mouth. The two hermits made those things because they had foresight to know that humans will face with danger and grieves in the future. The auspicious amulet, Phra RaHu, could help people free from ones.
