Phra Sivali Pim Klang (Medium Size), Soil Mixed with Blessed Sand around 2500 BE with original golden bronze brush by LP Guay. The back is smooth. It’s rare to find and is known for bringing good fortune, prosperity, and wealth.
In our Buddhist teachings, it is said that there are two Buddha images associated with fortune: Phra Sivali and Phra Sangkhajai. It is believed that in their past lives, both were great in giving alms. This trait aligns with Luang Por, who loved to preach about the story of Phra Wetsandorn's almsgiving. In the Buddhist scriptures, it’s said that Phra Malai ascended to heaven to meet Phra Sri Ariya Metai, and Phra Sri Ariya ordered Phra Malai to tell the human world that anyone wishing to be reborn in his Buddha's teachings should practice charity with a pure heart, just like Phra Wetsandorn.
After Luang Por Guay successfully practiced Vipassana meditation, he was able to connect with Phra Sivali and Phra Sangkhajai. He even drew a line drawing of Phra Sivali’s ssacred gem, which had never been seen before. Luang Por also made a flag with the image of Phra Sivali, which he placed at the altar for worship. He wrote that he recited daily without fail. In his teachings, he shared that if you regularly chant, it will bring respect, success in business, and wealth.
Later, Luang Por created a large version of Phra Sivali to wear around the neck, but this one in the image is a small version, a popular mold (the one without the robe is very rare and comes in both black and red materials).
Regarding carrying Phra Sivali or Phra Sangkhajai amulets, it’s like going with a person of great merit or power. Wherever you go, people will respect you, and you’ll gain access or permission where others may not. Even in the Buddha's time, there’s a story about two monks from a lower caste who were not offered food when they went out for alms. Later, an elder monk advised them to carry a relic or bone of Phra Sivali. After doing so, when they went for alms, they no longer went hungry. It was because of the power and merit of Phra Sivali.
From all that has been said about the miraculous qualities of Phra Sivali, and the stories of how Luang Por Guay could communicate with him, it’s clear that the Phra Sivali created by Luang Por is highly beneficial and worth carrying with you. Phra Sivali - The Great Fortune-fetching Monk
Phra Sivali (also Sivali Thera) is widely venerated among Theravada Buddhists, typically depicted standing upright and carrying a monk’s stuff most familiarly with an umbrella and alms bowl. Phra Sivali was an enlightened disciple of Buddha. Received praise from Buddha as the “miraculous monk for fortune”. With lots of merit he did with pure faith during his lifetime especially offering honey to Buddha, people believe that worshipers of Phra Sivali will never get starving and encounter poverty.
The Biography of LP Guay
LP Guay of Wat Kositaram, Chainat Province was born in 1905 at Chainat Province. When he was a child, he was beloved for his parents. When he grown up, his mother took him to live with LP Kuad, Wat BaanKae for learning. At the age of 6-7 years, LP Guay was intelligent. He can memorize many pray chapters. LP Kuad taught much knowledge for LP Guay especially Khmer learning. LP Kuad passed away. Next, his parents took him to live with Ajarn Dam, Wat Hua Den for Khmer learning. But he didn’t get more knowledge. Thus, he became farmer to help his parents. He felt that he was not happy. He always recalled LP Kuad who was the first Ajarn.
When he was 20 years old, he was ordained as a monk in 1924 at Wat Baan Kae. At that time, LP Ma was an abbot. LP Ma taught LP Guay about sermon such as Vessantara chapter, Kuman chapter and third chapter of Maha Chat. LP Guay was very expertise about sermon. If whoever was audible his sermon, everyone will impressive very much.
In 1929 LP Guay learnt doctrine at Wat Wang Korn. He would like to learn about meditation and magic. Thus, he traveled to learn with LP Sri Viriyasopit at Wat Phra Pang, Singburi Province.
LP Sri was an expertise about meditation. LP Sri taught LP Guay about magical of ring. The symbol of LP Sri’s ring is that the bottom of ring will have Khmer language namely I-Ti.
Next, LP Guay learnt with LP Derm, Wat NongPho in magic power such as ring, takrut and Meed-Moh. Also, LP Guay learnt about broken bone disease with LP Ken, Wat DongSetthi.
Afterwards, He came back at Wat KoSiTaRarm (Wat Baan Kae). He was very famous about tattoo. He has many disciples.
In 1948, LP Guay was an abbot at Wat KoSiTaRarm. LP Guay was very famous about incantations. Many people respect LP Guay. He passed away on 12th April 1979.
