Luang Por Samret Saksit is a holy Buddha image enshrined in the Vihara by Rapipat Canal, Sababuri Province.
Name of Buddha was named by people according to miracle of the Buddha. Samret means "success" and Saksit means "holy". People who pray to LP Samret Saksit often get successful in their wishes.
This Buddha image was built in Ayutthaya era. People met this Buddha by chance At first nobody knows that is Buddha image because the Buddha was masked with soil. In reign of King Rama 5, the King assigned to build the Rapipat Canal and the construction made soil the covered Buddha come off and it showed the beautiful Buddha image inside. Since that time, people from that area and others has come to pay respect this Buddha. They say that Buddha " Luang Por Saksit" is very holy and often gives people luck and success in wishes.

The Biography of LP Soontorn, Wat Nong Sa Dao, Saraburi Province:
LP Soontorn is an abbot of Wat Nong Sa Dao in Saraburi Province. He is a worshipful monk. He was born on Monday the 2nd March 1933 in Cambodia. In childhood, he liked to go to the temple. He got ordained as a novice when he was 12. Until he was 20, he got ordained as a monk.
At that time, there was war in Cambodia, so LP Soontorn decided to go to Thailand for pilgrimage. He walked past many Provinces in the north-east of Thailand and he finally stopped at Wat Nong Sa Dao in Saraburi Province. He thought Wat Nong Sa Dao good to do dharma. When the abbot of Wat Nong Sa Dao resigned, LP Soontorn became an abbot of Wat Nong Sa Dao. LP Soontorn has developed Wat Nong Sa Dao since he became an abbot. LP Soontorn has intention to maintain Buddhism. In 1995, he built the new chapel.
LP Soontorn always has mercy on people. He teaches people to make merit and avoid committing a sin.
