How to Use: Think of Naga and LP Nen. Chant the Katha and make a wish. Carry along in a shirt pocket or bag or put on a offering tray placed on an altar.
Belief about Naga:
Naga (Thai: Phaya Nak), a serpent being in Buddhist mythology is a symbol of “wealth” believed to worship will bring agricultural fertility (because it can access the land and the water) and plenty of fortune.
Thai people believe Naga live in Mekong River. The wonderful thing by Naga is the rise of light balls that occurs every year on a full moon night when Buddhist Lent is over (15th waxing moon of 11th month according to lunar calendar). People believe Naga produces light balls to worship Buddha. That night, Naga will gather at the center of Mekong River and produce many light balls going up in the sky.
About the Guru Monk:
LUANGPHO NEN (fully called LP Nen Kampeero, also LP Nen Kaew) is a skilled guru monk and a developer. He was born in 1980 in Roi Ed Province. He has been interested in dharma since he was seven. He can be obsessed by RuesiTafai, a powerful hermit spirit because his mind can contact with RuesiTafai. When he was a child, he was obsessed by RuesiTafai many times. After ordination, LP Nen set his heart on dharma and meditation. He spent most time on a pilgrimage in Thailand and Laos. He also went to learn magic and meditation from many skilled guru monks around Thailand such as LP KumPun, LP Phromma, LP Jaran, LP RuesiLingdam, LP Sawai , etc.
LP Nen established Wat Ban Kases Thung Setthi in Roi Ed Province in 2006 in order to be the place for people to worship, do meditation, chant and do Buddhist rites. Beyond anything else, he has intention to maintain Buddhism. LP Nen Kampeero always teaches people to do good things and avoid doing bad things.
