From: Wat Khongkharam, Phichit Province

Origin: Thailand

Batch: Puen Taek (meaning: exploding gun)

Year: B.E.2528 (C.E.1985)

Size: 1.6 x 2.5 cm

Material: this LP Nguen amulet created from many holy metals such as ancient bells of Wat BangKlan, ancient Buddha amulet and old LP Nguen amulets which created since LP Nguen had life.

Purpose for making: donate the money from amulet to develop and restore the buildings in temple.

Ceremony: there were top monks around Thailand joined to bless LP Nguen amulet in “Puen Taek” batch at Wat Khongkharam.

Power: People believe LP Nguen amulet can protect the owner from all natural or accidental calamities and attract luck, wealth and prosperity for the worshipper.

Biography of LP Nguen:

LP Nguen of Wat BangKlan, Pijit province was born on 16th September 1810 at Pijit. He was novice at the age of 12 years old at Wat ChaNaSongKram, Bangkok for studying Dharma and Samati until the age of 21 when he was finally ordained as a monk at Wat TongPu. After that, LP Nguen had stayed during the rainy season at Wat Chanasongkram. Next, he was a disciple of LP Toh of Wat Rakangkositaram.

After that, he moved to Wat KongKaRarm. He has been an expert of concentration of mindfulness in Buddhism way. LP Nguen went also called “Tudong” in the deep jungle alone to border of Thailand and Burma .Tudong is monk’s journey to gain knowledge to build up good karma and to know the teaching of Buddha.

Wat TaiNam is old temple. Next, LP Nguen was during rainy season at this temple. He was developed many things at Wat TaiNam. LP reconstructed Ubosot, Sala and other Buddhist place in Wat TaiNam. Next, Wat TaiNam was prosperity very much. After that, LP had assigned LP Fung to be new abbot after LP Nguen.

In the year 1837 he want to built new temple in his village and on next years he starting to build "Wat BANG-KLAN" temple for spreading the Buddhism. LP Nguen has success in Dhamma and become one great monk of Thailand, his amulets are very famous with many stories which protect the wearer and bring great fortune wealth. LP Nguen passed away in 1919 at the age of age of 109 years old.
