Name: Phrajow Yai In-plaeng Buddha Locket Filled with Ritual Candle & Takrut

About Temple:
Wat Mahawanaram (old name: Wat Pa Luang Manichotsrisawat, popularly called ‘Wat Pa Yai’) is a longtime Buddhist temple in Ubon Ratchathani Province. Built in 2350 BE (1807 CE). Phramaharajchakru Srisatthamwongsa was the first abbot and the creator of ‘Phrajow Yai In-plaeng’ the holy Buddha image in Marnvichai posture (meditation sitting with left hand on lap and right hand down the knee), built in style of Laotian art, 3-meter lap and 5-meter height from base to flame on top, made of brick and cement covered with a thin layer of gold.
