Nak Prok is name of the Buddha image under the covering by Naga. This happened when Buddha was in practice of being enlightened. Buddha sat under the big Bodhi tree (Srimahapho) and kept doing meditation. One day, it rained 7 days and 7 nights and Phaya Mujarin (king of great snakes) saw and was afraid that Buddha would get wet, so he covered Buddha with himself like an umbrella. About Guru Monk:
LP Tiew is a skilled guru monk. He is a current abbot of Wat Maneechonlakhan, Lopburi Province.
He was born on 2 December 2502 BE (1959 CE) in Lopburi. His interest in magic began when he was preteen from hearing adults talking about supernatural stories. So, he went to magic gurus to learn magic from them. He studied such as sacred writing, inscribing Takrut, making holy powder and charm powder. Then he got ordained as a Buddhist novice at Wat Maneechonlakhan and stayed there. As a novice, he learnt more magic from Phra Samu Dam, a monk. He studied sacred Khmer writing. Phra Samu Dam suggested LP Tiew to learn meditation because mindfulness is base of having strong magic. Therefore, LP Tiew went to LP Du of Wat Sakae, Ayutthaya Province. LP Du kindly taught LP Tiew meditation. At Wat Sakae, LP Tiew met LP See, a superb guru monk. Until age 20, he got ordained again as a monk at Wat Maneechonlakhan. After that, LP Tiew continued studying magic from many guru monks. Now, LP Tiew is an experienced guru monk who people rely on.
