Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

People believe that Thep In amulet can make them lucky, run business well, live in peacefulness, change bad fortune to good fortune and fulfill the owner’s wishes.

Story of Si Hoo Ha Ta :

Once upon a time, there was a beggar family. That family had 3 members: father, mother and son. Then mother died. After that, father died. Before father died, he told his son to bury his dead body and take out his skull when it falls out. Father told his son to roll his skull along the ground. Father told his son to make a trap where his skull stops and take a trapped animal home to feed. Father said a trapped animal would bring good luck. After father died, his son did all what his father told.

One day, a monster was trapped. It looked like a gorilla with four eyes and five eyes. The son brought the monster home. When he got home, he made a bonfire. The monster was so hungry and ate red charcoals in front of him. The son was amazed. Moreover, when the monster finished, it produced gold feces. The boy kept the gold in his garden and soon his garden was full of gold.

One day, the son heard the news that the king was finding the bridegroom for his daughter, but it was not easy. The king challenged all men in the town that he will give his daughter when the man could build the gold gutter to the castle. No one could, except the son. He used gold feces from the monster to build the gutter. The son married the princess as he wished.

However, the king was anxious to know how his son - in - law could get the gold. The king asked the son and the son told the king everything. So, the king and his guards came to catch the monster. When they arrived, the monster was frightened and ran way. It went in the cave. No one saw the monster ever since.

The Biography of KB Boonma:
Krapa Boonma (Krapa is the same meaning as Luang Por or Luang Pu spoken in northern Thailand) (his monk name: Suphattho), abbot of Wat Samakeetham, Lampang Province is highly respected by people in the North. He is kind to everyone, helps people and teaches people to do good every day.
Krapa Boonma is a good friend of Luang Por Chao, Wat Huai LamYai, Nakhon Sawan Province. They always respect each other.
Krapa Boonma was born on 5 June 2467 BE (1924 CE) in Lampang Province, northern Thailand. He got ordained in Buddhism as a novice at age 15 and became a monk at age 20. After ordination, he concentrated on dharma and monk studing and accomplished Nak Tham Ek, highest degree of basic monk-novice education.
Krapa Boonma began Vipassana (meditation) and writing Yant (holy scripts) when he was young. He went to Bangkok to study Vipassana at Wat Mahathat (famous temple for meditation). He found Vipassana interesting and useful. When he returned to hometown, he learnt Vipassana from senior monk Krapa Thammachai for many years. Then he went to Samnak Susan TriLak to be a disciple of Luang Por Kasem whom he admires. After that, he learnt mantras from Krapa Yodjai Siriyo, abbot of Wat Thung Kwian, Lampang Province at that time until fully understood. Finally, he studied more Vipassana from Krapa Phromma at Wat Phra Phutthabat Takpha, Lamphun Province where was another famous meditation school in those days.
Until now, Krapa Boonma has been following the footsteps of Luang Por Kasem, admirable monk in Thai people hearts. Prominent personalities of Krapa Boonma are being modest, being solitary and being easy-going. His words usually imply dharma of Buddha. Most people visiting Krapa Boonma often have good luck.

KB Boon peacefully passed away on 13 October BE2559 (CE2016) at age 93.
