Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

Later changed the name to Wat Hua Krabu to the present Hua Krabue Temple has a story and tradition going on for many generations. Is a mystery Why is there a mystery? Hua Kruea temple has an abbot. Upon accepting the position, will die without knowing the reason. When this happens, the people of Mon who have migrated to live elsewhere. And later on March 23, 1973, Phra Kru Wiboon Phattanakit traveled to receive the position of Hua Krabue Temple Abbot.
He knew that this temple has mystery. One guy asked him if he was afraid. He said that when he was ordained as a monk, he was not afraid of death. Then walked around the temple. At that time there was a pavilion where a Abbot died, then entered the main chapel (Uposatha) and noticed the principal Buddha image named Luang Por Toh) situated in a low area. Then abbot decided to build a base to support the principal Buddha image. When the construction had been completed, it appeared that Wat Hua Krabue Temple starting to have mass media coming to make news until it is well-known to tourists today.
Traveling to Wat Hua Krabue Temple as for the blessing of Luang Por Toh, the sacred Buddha statue in the chapel, when tourists come to close the gild, the Luang Por Toh looks as if smiling (the reason to call Luang Por Toh because in ancient times, when the villagers saw a large Buddha image, it would be called Luang Por Toh: Luang Por = represent for monk, Toh = big) In front of the temple is a market where vendors sell vegetables and fruits for sale. Beside the temple is a resting place for tourists. There are marshes and water bicycles for service. Large turtle statue.
