Rahoo is an important deity to all of us because Rahoo influences our fortune. According to astrology, we all came from different planets. 7 days are 7 planets: Sunday/ Sun, Monday/Moon, Tuesday/Mars, Wednesday/ Mercury, Thursday/ Jupiter, Friday/ Venus, Saturday/Saturn. Not only them, but there is also Dow Rahoo, astrological imaginary planet in that orbits around our planets. Astrologers say Rahoo planet will influence the planet it moves to. After hearing, Lord Vishnu was angry and went to punish Rahoo by throwing the rowel to Rahoo. The rowel cut Rahoo in half, but Rahoo had already drunk the immortal water, so his upper part had become immortal since then.
According to the story, every time when Rahoo saw the sun and the moon, he would eat them with revenge that they told Lord Vishnu causing him half body. With heat of the sun and power of the moon, Rahoo could not eat them, but only swallowed and then spat out. This action is well-known as Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse.

Luangpho O (also Phra Arjarn O, abbot of Wat SiSuPhon, Phetchabun province) is a successful guru monk whose amulets are accepted by Thai and foreign worshipers.
