Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

Luang Pu Tim (a former abbot of Wat Lahanrai , Rayong Province) is a timeless guru monk whom Thai people respect. LP Tim is regarded to have very strong mind power and the one who created legendary holy powder named Pong Prai Guman, believed when mixed with other ingredients of amulet, that amulet will be very powerful because LP Tim had already blessed so intensively that it does not need any spells. LP Tim was also a teacher of monks. One of them was LP Sakorn, Wat NongGrub, Rayong Province who became a famous guru monk. Today, amulets that LP Tim blessed are still popular and wanted by a lot of collectors.

Luang Pu Tim was a nephew of LP SungTao, Wat Lahanrai . Luang Pu SungTao was famous for his specialization in sorcery. He was also a founder of Wat Lahanrai . When LP Tim was 17, his father brought him to LP Singha to learn reading and writing.

LP Tim got ordained as a monk on 7 June 2499 by Prakru Kao of Wat Tub as his preceptor, Pra Ajarn Gate and Pra Ajarn Singha (his first teacher). After ordination, he stayed with Pra Ajarn Singha for one year. During that time, LP learnt meditation and magic from LP Singha. After that, LP Tim went on a pilgrimage past many Provinces. He spent 3 years on a pilgrimage.

When LP Tim stayed at Wat Lahanrai , the local monastic party assigned him to be the abbot of Wat Lahanrai . He built many things in the temple such as the monk shelter, the sermon hall, the canteen, the chapel, etc. He also raised a new chapel which was finished within 1 year 3 months.

In BE 2483 (CE 1940), LP Tim allowed schooling to be done in the temple and also built the classroom. So, the children in the village could get education able to read and write. Besides, he led people to build the bridge so that people can cross the river.

LP Tim was a worshipful monk because he did not want things not belong to him, happy with whatever he got and his own dedication to follow the Buddha path. He lived simply and was punctual.

He built various kinds of magical items but the most famous one that is still popular these days is Phra Khun Paen Pong Prai Guman Amulet. Original Pong Prai Guman is made of baby skull powder from the infant dying in mother’s womb, mixed with herbs and soil for example.

Experience: A Man and Family Survived from Fatal Accident!
This is an experience of a man with Rian Charoen Por n (LP Tim medal). One day, while he was driving home with his wife and child in the car, it rained and his car lost control and flipped over on the wet road. But, a man and his family were miraculously safe. He believed LP Tim medal on his neck saved all people at that day.
