Belief about Garuda:
Garuda (Thai: Phaya Krut), the mighty Avian God in Thai belief whose image evokes the feel of authority and respect. That is why Garuda is an emblem of Thailand. Garuda image is usually seen in Buddhist temples as a guardian. Also in Hinduism, Garuda is a vehicle of Narayana. He received a blessing from Lord Narayana to be immortal. Hindu people have strong faith in Garuda. They believe speaking “Garuda” 3 times can help them from distress. Mightiness of Garuda is believed to defeat all dangers, bad spirits and evil forces. Moreover, Garuda will support personal ascendancy and bring progression to careers especially that involve government.
About Guru Monk:
LP Amnard (Pali name: Artitawanno) is the head of Samnak Sohng Khao Sam Lan, Chumphon Province. He was born on 17 October BE 2517 (CE 1974). He got ordained when he was 24 in BE 2541 (CE 1998) at the temple in Chiang Mai Province. After ordination, he was so interested in meditation and magic. So, he went to learn those from many experienced monks such as LP Thong, KB In Into, KB Duang Dee of Wat Ta JamPi, LP Sawas of Wat Sala Poon, etc. In addition, LP Amnard Artitawanno went on a pilgrimage from north to south. He met many skilled monks and learnt interesting aspects of dharma and magic from them. LP Amnard Artitawanno is a good learner. He has collected a lot of dharma and magical knowledge. He also has strong intention to promote Buddhism. This is why he established Samnak Sohng Khao Sam Lan, Chumphon Province in BE 2547 (CE 2004). Let’s support him by worshipping his amulets.
