LP Yot is one of not many Thai guru monks who notably apply the use of Lek Namphi to amulet.
In the past, Lek Namphi was used to make sword and weapons. According to Thai belief, Lek Namphi ore is mystically capable of destroying enemy’s magic, having invulnerability, enhancing destiny, windfall and auspiciousness.
“Khun Paen” is a main character in Thai literature. He is handsome, very flirtatious and excellent at war.
Power: This Khun Paen from powerful mineral is good in many aspects especially harm protection, good luck charm and windfall.
Purpose: to earn donation for developing and restoring Wat Na Laplae.
Ceremony: holy blessing for 2 times on 5-6 March in 2004. Performed by LP Yot Wat Na Laplae and many guru monks such as:
- LP Thongdam Wat Tha Thong
- LP Thongkam Wat Chedikreevihara
- LP Daeng Wat Tham Chalongratbamrung
- and 12 guru monks from nearby Provinces Uttaradit, Phitsanulok and Sukhothai
History of Wat Na Laplae:
Wat Na Laplae is in Uttaradit Province. Built in BE2323 (CE1780) that is in “Thonburi” era. The Ubosot of temple was built in BE2459 (CE1916) that first time this temple was name “Wat Kao”. In the reign of King Rama 5, the temple was renamed “Wat Na Laplae”.
The Biography of LP Yot:
LP Yot was born on Friday 17 March BE2477 (CE1934) in Samut Sakhon Province. LP Yot ever been Thai navy that LP Yot was Thai navy for long time and decided to ordain in BE2502 (CE1959) at Wat Bang Yang, Samut Sakorn Province. LP Yot studied the magic from many top monks such as LP Rung from Wat Tha Krabue, LP Koet from Wat Chong Lom, LP Unt from Wat Laem Suwannaram, LP Phon from Wat Thain Dad, LP Yu from Wat Mai Nong Phaong and then LP Yot went to study the magic and practice meditation around Thailand. The major amulets of LP Yot have “Lek Namphi” (holy ore) mixed to increase powerful.
