About Temple:
Wat Phra Borommathat Worawiharn is located in Chainat Province, has a former name “Wat Phra That” or the other name “Wat Hua Mueang”, built in Thawarawadee Era of Thailand. This temple has a big Chedi that keeps Buddha relics inside. Wat Phra Borommathat Worawiharn has existed for more than 1,000 years and been patronized by kings. Phra Chainat Muni or LP Nuam, a former abbot of Wat Phra Borommathat Worawiharn dag the old amulets from many temples and brought them to Wat Phra Borommathat Worawiharn. LP Nuam did that because he wanted to prevent the old amulets which he regarded them as a heritage of Thailand from stealing by bad people and to keep the old amulets for all Thai people to worship. Recently, the abbot of Wat Phra Borommathat Worawiharn has brought out the old amulets that LP Nuam kept to display in the museum of the temple for people to visit without any fee and let people buy some old amulets to use all money for restoring Wat Phra Borommathat Worawiharn.
