Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

PhraSangkajai, the God of Wealth-Wits-Charisma:
PhraSangkajai is an enlightened disciple of Buddha. At first, PhraSangkajai was good-looking and clever. He looked so good that people called him Buddha. PhraSangkajai was not feel good to hear that because Buddha was the highest person in his thought and he did not want to be compared with Buddha. So, he transformed himself into a fat monk with a big belly. However, people still admired him as usual. Since then, a fat monk has become the image of PhraSangkajai.
Due to a plenty image of PhraSangkajai, worshiping him is believed to bring wealth. Furthermore, his previous good appearance and best wit becomes the belief that whoever worships PhraSangkajai will be a favorite of people and successful in all science.
PhraSivali, the Buddhist Fortune-Fetching Monk:
PhraSivali was an enlightened disciple of Buddha who is praised as God of Wealth because in lifetime, he ever offered food to Buddha and monks with pure faith. Worshiping PhraSivali, the worshiper will never face poverty and shortage.

About Guru Monk:
Luang Por Chuan is a well-known guru monk in Thailand. He is a worshipful monk who devotes himself to serve Buddhism. Now, he is an abbot of WatKhaoKaeo, Ang Thong Province.
He was born on 11 December 2470 BE (1927 CE). LP Chuan got ordained when he was 27 years old at Wat Sam Ngam, NakhonPathom Province. After ordination, he learnt meditation, magic and others from LP Te , an abbot of Wat Sam Ngam at that time. He was a close disciple of LP Te .
Besides, he went to learn more magic from other guru monks in NakhonPathomProvince because there are many skilled guru monks in this Province. They are for example LP Cham of Wat Ta Kong, LP Muang of Wat Ban Thuan, LP Kong of Wat Bang KraPhom and LP Noi of WatThamma Sala. In fact, LP Chuan is a grandson of LP Cham, Wat Ta Kong.
LP Chuan is a good learner. He likes to learn. When he was a young monk, he went on a pilgrimage and went to many seniors monks to exchange knowledge with those. Undoubtedly, soon he achieved dharma and magic. LP Chuan has strong mindfulness because of serious practice.
Before LP Chuan came to WatKhaoKaeo, the temple was poor. LP Chuan came here in
2519 BE (1976 CE) and became an abbot. He developed his temple as much as he could. He released amulets to get donation. Because of that, WatKhaoKaeo consistently grew. Today, WatKhaoKaeo is better than before.

His Sacredness:
On 25 September 2005, robbers broke in WatKhaoKaeo and tried to rob donation money from LP Chuan. One robber shot LP Chuan, but incredibly a gun did not work. LP Chuan was safe. The robbers were arrested later.
