Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

Next, LP Toh also built a big pagoda in this temple to keep 84000 amulets to continue Buddhism way. This big pagoda at Mai Amatrot was built in 1868 and finished in 1870.
BangKhun Prom Pagoda was restored again in year 1957 after Second World War. There are many amulet found under Groo but most were broken. Abbot of the temple kept these fragment amulets in the Abbot Guti.
In the years 1988, LP Wat who is currently abbot of Wat Mai Amatrot create Phra Somdej amults from those fragments of older amulets excavated from Wat Bang Khun Prom in 1957 and other sacred magic components including Poottakoon Powder. LP Wat has been studied the art of making efficacious Phra Somdej amulets from LP Toh’s magic book. He is popular for his knowledge in both holy Dharma and Visha.
