Not only is it a trusted symbol of longevity & good health, it also brings prosperity and abundance of blessings. The authentic Wu Lou is a gourd fruit with the flesh inside carefully removed and then dried. In ancient times, the Wu Lou is used to store water or potions to keep travellers alive and thus was given the name of “giver of life” and subsequently became a symbol of good health.
