Thai people believe Naga live in Mekong River. The wonderful thing by Naga is the rise of light balls that occurs every year on a full moon night when Buddhist Lent is over (15th waxing moon of 11th month according to lunar calendar). People believe Naga produces light balls to worship Buddha. That night, Naga will gather at the center of Mekong River and produce many light balls going up in the sky.
**Belief about Naga Gem**
Naga Gem (Thai: ‘Manee Naka’ or ‘Manee Nakaraj’) is a relic of Naga. Each Naga has his own gem and it will be left after that Naga already dies. There are various colors and powers of each Naga Gem for example:
1. White Color
White Naga Gem belongs to Naga who had great merit and perfect meditation. This color is believed to develop meditation of owner very well.
2. Red
Red Naga Gem belongs to the powerful Naga who obtained very strong magical powers. This color is believed to increase the confidence and the bravery for warriors or military leaders. Also holds great protective power against harm and dangers.
3. Pink
Pink Naga Gem belongs to female Naga. It is good for personal attractiveness and love.
4. Purple
Purple Naga Gem involves wealth, charm and protection from black magic and evil spirits.
5. Yellow

About LP Pichet (Wat Khok Mor, Lopburi Province):
Luang Por Pichet is one of top guru monks of this age. He is well-known among amulet collectors. People in Lopburi know him well because Luang Por Pichet is an abbot of Wat Khok Mor in Lopburi Province. People say LP Pichet is a trustworthy monk.
Actually, Luang Por Pichet was born in Nakhon Sawan Province. Ajarn Chum Chaikiri, a famous guru master in southern Thailand was the first person who influenced him to study mantras. Before Luang Por Pichet became a monk, he met Ajarn Chum and felt amazed because Ajarn Chum was very good at mantras. So, Luang Por Pichet learnt mantras from Ajarn Chum.
After that Luang Por Pichet went to many magic gurus and studied from them such as
- close disciple of Luang Por Derm, Wat Nong Pho (past famous guru monk in Nakhon Sawan Province)
- Luang Por Yid, Wat Nong Jork, Prachuabkirikhan Province (studied how to make Palad Khik)

- Luang Pu Mang, Wat Thep Kunchorn, Lopburi Province
After that, Luang Por Pichet went on a pilgrimage called Tudong walking in the woods and mountains that he met senior monks and learnt something useful about mantras and meditation from them. During a pilgrimage, Luang Por Pichet established several temples. For many years, Luang Por Pichet dedicated himself to pilgrimage. Finally, he came to Wat Khok Mor, Lopburi Province.
With his magical knowledge and mercy on people, today Luang Por Pichet becomes a top guru monk who has many disciples from common to high ranks.
Palad Khik by Luang Por Pichet is famous. Previous Palad Khik amulets were made of coral wood and produced not many. Sellers who got Palad Khik became wealthy soon. Many people who missed asked Luang Por Pichet to make more. So, Luang Por made more Palad Khik from wood and gave people. These amulets were not enough because of too many people. So, Luang Por Pichet had an idea to make metal Palad Khik.
When metal Palad Khik amulets were produced, many people did not miss to get and there were experiences of owners. First case was being not injured in the event people shooting one another. Second case was being not damaged by a snake bite and a dog bite. Third case is removing a spirit from person by using Palad Khik to touch the person obsessed by spirit.
From those experiences, Palad Khik by Luang Por Pichet is said powerful in business and protection.
