LP Sook was born in Chainat province in 2390 B.E. (1847 C.E.), the reign of King Rama the Fourth. LP Sook got ordained as a Buddhist monk when he was 22 years old at Wat Poh BangKhen, Phathum Thani province. LP Sook went to study the magic and dharma from many top monks in the past such as LP Poeng from Wat Chinwanaram, LP Thaow from Wat Hong and LP Choen from Wat Poh Thong Lang.
That is to say, LP Sook traveled around Thailand to study magic and dharma. After that, he came back to be an abbot of Wat Pak Khong Makham Thao in Chainat province. Many monks and people went to study magic and dharma with LP Sook. His closest disciple was Somdej Komma Luang ChumPorn who is a son of King Rama the Fifth. He was safe.
