History of Phra Kring Por Chor:
Por Chor stands for “Pak Chong” District of Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
Phra Kring Por Chor was first created in 1963 by Phra Kru Udomkiriwan (LP Yee am Mahotharo) a former ecclesiastical chief of Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province and 7th former abbot of Wat Kiriwan who held perfect precepts and was dignified, full of mercy and meditation and very skilled at magic and mantras.
Phra Kru Udomkiriwan cast the first Phra Kring Por Chor by hand very piece and famous guru monks came to join in blessing such as LP Suk (Wat Pho Sai Thong, Buriram Province), LP Toh (Wat Pra Doo Chim Plee, Bangkok), LP Kong (Wat Khao Sompot, Lopburi Province) and other 108 guru monks.
Consecutively, this Buddha amulet was worshiped by people and talked about miracle in protecting owner from dangers, not to mention well resulting in business and career that unquestionably Phra Kring Por Chor was gradually famous and popular.
Purpose: to earn donations for restoring the old teak wood chapel at Wat Kiriwan
