Description: Lek Lai Peek Malaeng Tap , its name derives from color of a bug wing that is quite blue (also greenish blue and violet). It is believed to be taken care by holy spirits. Power of this Lek Lai is believed to help person who owns progress in Dharma practice until become united with Buddha.
King Naresuan was the great king of Thailand who saved the country from the 1st loss of Ayutthaya kingdom. That was the greatest retrieval ever because after the war Siam (old name of Thailand) had been free from trespassing of Burma for 417 years. Thai people believe spirit of King Naresuan will always help and protect Thailand and Thai people.
About LP Huan:
Luang Pu Huan of Wat Phutthaisawan, Ayutthaya Province was born on 29 August 1929 CE Now LP is 85 years old. LP Huan was ordained at Wat GaSatTraTiRach. LP has been an expert of concentration of mindfulness in Buddhist way. LP has knowledge of Visha (magic) to call “Lek Lai” (supernatural ore) and cut it (very hard to do believed the doer must have strong mantra or he might die) to create amulets.
About Temple:
This temple is located Ayutthaya in the area where King U-Thong established the town. It was formerly known as "Wiang Lek" named after the royal palace of King U-Thong. The most distinctive feature of this temple is the great principal Buddha image casted in early Ayutthaya era.
LP Huan, a Master of Lek Lai in Ayutthaya:
Luang Pu Huan is a descendant magic of LP Derm Wat NongPho (Nakhon Sawan Province). LP Huan studied cutting Lek Lai with LP Derm. Cutting Lek Lai is not easy, only people knowing magic can do because Lek Lai is looked after by holy spirits. Every time before cutting Lek Lai, LP Huan places an image of LP Derm, his teacher and performs a proper ritual to ask holy spirits for permission. LP Huan says to holy spirits who take care of Lek Lai that he is going to use Lek Lai for advantage of Buddhism. LP Huan calls his Lek Lai “Phaya Lek Lai”, Phaya means “king” to show respect to holy spirits of Lek Lai. There are 3 kinds of Lek Lai from LP Huan:
1. Ngoen Yuang (silver color)
This Lek Lai is prominent in charm, prosperity and protection from dangers and bad things. Also helps a person have better dharma practice.
2. Peek Malaeng Thab (looks green and blue like color of bug wings where the name comes from)
This Lek Lai is prominent in ascendancy.
3. Si Thong (gold color or color of eel belly)
Gold Lek Lai is prominent in wealth and good luck.
Phaya Lek Lai (King of Lek Lai) has a lot of powers up to a prayer such as progression in career, getting lucky, etc. It is said the brighter Phaya Lek Lai shines, the luckier the owner will become. LP Huan says that will happen to people who have collected enough merit.
Lek Lai – is a Mysterious Sacred substance which is the subject of Legendary Tales of Miracle Power which has become a Cult Phenomenon in recent years, due to the ease of access to information enabled by modern Media such as the internet, as well as being due to increased International trading and a massive increase in Thai Buddha Magic.
Lek Lai used to be presented in only a few forms, shapes and sizes. Lek Lai is a metallic element with a life of its own. It is also Karmic effect of Spirits which have been driven by the winds of karma to be reborn in Samsara in the form of metallic elemental substances, and is subject to having to eat (honey) and excrete (Khee Lek Lai) residue.
The Lek Lai is considered a living being of the Deva classification (Angelic Deity) who has been driven to be born on earth. There are both ‘Kon Tan’ and Yaksa type Devas found inhabiting Lek Lai, which gives each different Lek Lai its own special powers and properties which differ with each inhabiting Deva.
Lek Lai is something which will protect who carries it from guns or sharp objects (such as knife or sword), and all other harmful weapons. Some people believe that Lek Lai is indestructible and immortal (Adamantine).
We should comment on this belief, that the Lord Buddha already expounded the Dhamma to be based on the three Truths of Impermanence, Dhukkha and Non-Self. All material things are subject to change, and eventual dissolution. It seems unreasonable to believe that Lek Lai should be any different from all other worldly Dhammas.
Matter cannot be destroyed, but it is constantly changing its form. If changing of form is not considered to affect the immortality of an object. Then we could also say that the human body is immortal, simply that it has changed form into, slime for example. All things with a beginning have an end, even this planet and solar system will one day end, and then at the latest, the Lek Lai will also end. This is the way things should be, for development is reliant on change, and liberation is reliant on the destruction of one’s limits (the body).
