Description: This medal was made on an auspicious occasion “72 birthday anniversary” of LP Phrom, a present abbot of Wat Ban Suan, Phatthalung province. The front of medal has sitting LP Phrom and a dragon at both sides.
Phra Kru Khantayapon or Luangpho Phrom, present abbot of Wat Ban Suan, Phatthalung province is a famous guru monk in Southern Thailand keeping on powerful magical knowledge of KowOor (the oldest magic shool in the South) and knowledge of protective mantras and herbal medicine from LP Kong (his teacher who was a former abbot of Wat Ban Suan).
**Power: Amulets in every batches by LP Phrom are made and blessed with correct method of KowOor, have been proved by many worshipers that amulets are really powerful in protection from harm and dangers.
Ceremony: LP Phrom blessed this medal on 10 March 2012. That was called “Phithee Sao Ha” an propitious day because it happened on Saturday called “Sao” and in 2555 B.E. called “Ha” (Ha = 5).
Objective: donations for restoring “Phra Borommathat Chedi” the holy pagoda that LP Kong (former abbot of Wat Ban Suan) ordered to build and the inside has Buddha relics that LP Kong brought from India
About Guru Monk:
This is Luangpho Phrom Khantigo, abbot of Wat Ban Suan, Phatthalung province (Pali name: Khantigo, official name: Phra Kru Khantayapon). LP Phrom is one of famous guru monks in Southern Thailand who are alumni of Samnak KowOor (the oldest magic school in Southern Thailand).
LP Phrom was born on 10 March 2483 B.E. (1940 C.E.) in Phathalung province. He got ordained as a monk at age 20 at Wat Ban Suan in his hometown. After ordination, LP Phrom went to Bangkok to study dharma and monk subjects at Wat Trimit. Then LP Phrom was appointed as an abbot of Wat Bansuan after LP Kong.
With his good behavior and religious work, LP Phrom is very much respected by people in Phatthalung and other nearby provinces. He does not only teaches people dharma of Buddha, but also supports Buddhist affairs and social welfare such as providing scholarships for poor-but-smart students and Buddhist novices.
