Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

LP Chin, a Master of Holy Knife:
This is Luang Por Chin of Wat Wang Nam Khiew from Prachuabkirikhan Province who is a master of holy knife.
In adolescence, LP Chin was so furious, determined and never feared anyone. When any his friend got into trouble, LP Chin always walked forwards to help. With being too furious, boss of LP Chin suggested him to get ordained and stay with LP Jaem (Wat Wang Daeng Nuea, Ayutthaya Province).
LP Chin accepted that suggestion. He went to LP Jaem at Wat Wang Daeng Nuea in Ayutthaya. At first, LP Chin was not serious with ordination thinking would be a monk for only 1 year, but after meeting LP Jaem, he changed his mind. LP Chin studied many things from LP Jaem and one of them is Holy Knife.
It was opportunity for LP Chin to meet LP Jaem because LP Jaem was a very skilled guru monk. He handed down his magic and mantras to LP Chin including the Magic Knife. Knife which was blessed by LP Jaem has strong protection power because he had fully installed divine power into the knife.
With basis of being strong-hearted, LP Chin learnt magic and mantras very well that LP Jaem said someday LP Chin would be more famous than him.
LP Chin got a nickname “Monk Who Makes Knife Stand”. Because LP Chin ever blessed knife so magically that the knife stood by itself! Not only that, Chinese disciples also call LP Chin “Fire-handed Monk”.
