Description: This Phra Kring Eka Thaksin was created for special case to be a token that LP Phrom was presented a degree of traditional medicine at Thaksin University, Songkhla Province from Princess Sirindhorn on 13 June 2016. Eka Thaksin means the one of the South.
Purpose of making: contribute to building Rong Dham (multipurpose hall) at Wat Ban Suan, Phatthalung Province
Phra Kring is a very auspicious amulet. Thai people believe Phra Kring can make the wishes of the wisher come true, bring wealth, good luck, prosperity, happiness and safety to the worshipper and also make the worshipper recover from illness or diseases. For curing, Thai gurus believe drinking holy water using Phra Kring can make illness gone.
One feature of Phra Kring is having a metal bead inside, making a sound when being shaken where the word Kring comes from.
*Tips: You can make holy water with Phra Kring. First, dip Phra Kring amulet in clean water. Second, chant. Third, blow on the water. This holy water can be drunk for curing illness or used to wash face or body to remove bad luck.

About Guru Monk:
This is Luang Por Phrom Khantigo, abbot of Wat Ban Suan, Phatthalung Province (Pali name: Khantigo, official name: Phra Kru Khantayapon). LP Phrom is one of famous guru monks in Southern Thailand who are alumni of Samnak Khao Or (the oldest ritual school in Southern Thailand).
LP Phrom was born on 10 March 2485 BE (1942 CE) in Phathalung Province. He got ordained as a monk at age 20 at Wat Ban Suan in his hometown. After ordination, LP Phrom went to Bangkok to study dharma and monk subjects at Wat Traimit . Then LP Phrom was appointed as an abbot of Wat Bansuan after LP Kong.
With his good behavior and religious work, LP Phrom is very much respected by people in Phatthalung and other nearby Provinces. He does not only teaches people dharma of Buddha, but also supports Buddhist affairs and social welfare such as providing scholarships for poor-but-smart students and Buddhist novices.
