Phra Khun Paen Song Phon Yai was found under the pagoda (Chedi) at Ban Krang, Suphanburi. This is an old Buddha amulet assumed was made by King Naresuan around 2135 BE (1592 CE) when he won the war against the king of Burma. King Naresuan made Phra Khun Paen Song Phon and gave to soldiers and put some under the pagoda at Wat Ban Krang, Suphanburi.
Age of Phra Khun Paen Song Phon is assumed not less than 600 years old. Phra Khun Paen Song Phon Yai is Buddha of Suphanburi Province.
Nowadays, Phra Khun Paen Song Phon Yai is estimated up to 2 million baht. This price is the highest among prices of other Phra Khun Paen amulets.
Being rare and superb power (Phutthakhun) in protection and charm (Metta) are reasons of high price of Phra Khun Paen Song Phon Yai.

**This year, Wat Ban Krang has released Retro Phra Khun Paen Song Phon Yai that the temple had not made this for more than 40 years. So, this is an opportunity to worship the holy amulet.
