**Power: A plump Buddha with his hands covering his eyes is a well-known name of Phra Pidta (one of Buddha’s enlightened disciples). Phra Pidta represents plenty and well-being. Thai Buddhists believe worshiping Phra Pidta will bring wealth and charm called Metta Maha Niyom, the charm that makes people show mercy and do favors for you. Furthermore, this Phra Pidta will protect the worshiper from danger and bad things.

Name: Sitthimongkol

Year: 2557 BE (2014 CE)

Purpose: The proceeds from this go to Wat Jampa to use about development and restoration.

Ceremony: Abbot and monks of Wat Jampa blessed this amulet on the auspicious date and time.

About Temple:
Wat Jampa is an interesting longtime temple located in Taling Chan district, Bangkok. The temple was built in the reign of King Rama the Third. Today, Wat Jampa still exists and is a good place to learn history of Bangkok. When you come here, you will see old architectures and sculptures. Particularly, the gables and walls are made of cement and pieces of Chinese enameled ceramic bowls which were imported from China in the past.
